 Altar Server Recognition Reception 

A special thanks to the Altar Servers and their families who attended the Recognition Reception this
past Wednesday. Thirty-five servers were in attendance. Servers were given crosses and certificates
in thanksgiving for their contribution of time and talent to this important liturgical ministry.

 Ministry Training Classes Scheduled! 

The following Ministry Training Classes have been scheduled:
• Altar Server Training - Wednesday, Sept. 1st, at 4:00 pm*
• “New” Lector Training - Thursday, Sept. 30th, at 7:00 pm
• “New” HEM & Extraordinary Min. of Communion - Thursday, Oct. 7th, at 7:00 pm
* This is a changed date.

 HFCC Men’s Club Kickoff Meeting & BBQ

Come learn about the Men’s Club & enjoy good food and fellowship

 Red Cross Blood Drive 

Our next Blood Drive will be Sunday, Sept. 19th, from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm in Rm. 111 and the Gather
Area. Sign up to donate in the Entry Way this week. Volunteers are needed to make phone calls.

 HFCC Men’s Club Annual Parish Picnic 

Sunday, Sept. 26th, Rain date October 10th
11:30 - 4:00 pm in the HFCC Pavilion
Burgers, Chicken & Hot Dogs off the grill, and cold beverages provided.
Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Lots of games for the kids.

 R.E. Classes Begin Sept. 12th & 15th 

Parents will be notified via email of their class assignments sometime the 1st week of September.
