Ministries - Faith Formation (Youth)
Religious Education Catechist / Co-Catechist
Catechists share their faith and their time by leading weekly class sessions
from September thru May. A minimum of two catechists for each class.
Religious Education Support
Support is needed during the class sessions and for special projects
throughout the year. Time commitment varies.
The 1st Communion and Confirmation retreats are held in the
spring prior to the celebration of these sacraments.
Duties vary but include food preparation and assistance with crafts.
Vacation Bible School Volunteer
VBS occurs one week during the summer each year.
Volunteers are needed to serve in all areas.
Special Needs Education
In order for every child in our community to be effectively catechized,
assistance is often needed to work with children who have different learning styles.
This ministry commitment is determined by the individual needs of each child.
Volunteers present the liturgy, in an age appropriate format to our
1st - 4th grade children during the Liturgy of the Word portion of
the 8:30 & 11:00 am Sunday Masses.
