HFCC Catholic School Subsidy

Dear Parents,

We are grateful for your commitment to Catholic education.  Since its founding in 1989, Holy Family has, and continues to, support Catholic education.  That support is manifested in several ways, including through subsidies to or for schools attended by children of Holy Family parishioners.

Our subsidy policy encourages families to participate in the Sacraments and our Parish community's life.  Schools attended by students of participating families will receive a tuition subsidy from Holy Family.  Families “participate” in the Parish through the reception of the Sacraments, especially weekly participation in the Holy Eucharist at Mass, and through sharing their time, talent, and treasure with the Parish.  Your completion of the HFCC Subsidy Application online form will assist us in making that determination.

To apply for the HFCC Subsidy Application, please click HERE.

There are countless opportunities to share your time and talent through one of the many Holy Family ministries and other ministries of the Diocese of Nashville.

You share your treasure through online giving, the use of our church envelopes, or other trackable giving.

Holy Family commits to pay a per child subsidy at the start of the school year for families it determines are participating in the Parish.  The amount of the subsidy varies by school and ranges from $1,100 to $2,300 per student.  Concerning the “treasure” aspect of your participation, we ask that you budget for and, over the course of the school year, contribute more than the amount of each of your student’s subsidies. This will help defray the subsidy cost that Holy Family will incur and provide for other expenses of the Parish.

If the “treasure” aspect of our policy creates an undue financial hardship for you, please let us know via the form, and we will work with you.

If you have questions, please contact Fran Bedard ([email protected]), Chair of the HFCC finance committee.

Sincerely,
