Men's Faith Sharing

This group of men meets every Friday from 6:15 -7:15 am to share fellowship and faith enrichment. The group welcomes all men to attend. If you want to learn more about your faith, be a better husband, father, brother, son, or man – please join us.

LEARN

Members have consistently said that this group gives them a small group of men that they can learn with and learn from. Lifelong Catholics have said they learned more about their faith and how to live it during the few years in the group than in all their prior years. Normally the group is reading and discussing a book. Men in the group have consistently been amazed at what they learn when discussing a book versus just reading it on their own.

MINISTER

Men need other men to help them in life. The Men’s Faith Sharing group ministers to each other. Sometimes you help. Sometimes you get helped. This may be as simple as learning a new way to do something from another person, or it may be supporting one of the group members when sick. They also minister to the community through a variety of ways. Many Diocesan and Holy Family ministries have grown from the men in the Friday morning group.

FELLOWSHIP

Men’s Faith Sharing provides friendship, fellowship, and brotherhood. Men in the group have formed friendships and bonds with each other that have lasted for years. The group provides a chance to get to know other men and build relationships. Early on in the group when discussing what book to do next, a wise man said — “it’s not about the book. It’s about our relationships with each other.” That lesson has not been forgotten.

FLEXIBILITY

Men’s Faith Sharing welcomes all men to attend whenever they can. Many of the members attend when they can and the group is structured to support the flexibility needed in the busy schedules everyone has. The group meets on Friday mornings to try to accommodate those who travel more during the week It meets early since most don’t have 6:15 am meetings. If this time or group doesn’t work for you, contact the group. they are trying to help facilitate groups to meet whenever they can meet.

To join — just show up! Men’s Faith Sharing meets in the conference room by the Gather Area every Friday morning at 6:15 am. You are always welcome. You may also email [email protected].
