A Stewardship of Engagement
A Message from the Pastor
Dear Holy Family Parishioners,
If you heard my recent stewardship homily, I tried to summarize all the ways your past generosity has benefited our Parish community. We have enhanced ministry programming for all age groups, made significant improvements to our facility, and added three very strategic staff positions. Together with Fr. John Raphael, our Pastoral Team, and in consultation with our Finance Committee and Parish Council, I believe we have positioned Holy Family to be a second home for you, our Parishioners – to feed you spiritually through our beautiful liturgies and faith formation programs to meet each of you where you are in your faith journey.
In my homily I also introduced our new Step Up program. As many of you are experiencing tighter budgets in your own household, early in this new fiscal year, Holy Family is experiencing reduced weekly collections and increased operating costs. I respectfully ask each of our families to give prayerful thought and meaningfully participate in our Step Up program. Please contact the office with any questions and ways you can step up.
In today’s challenging times, it is more important than ever to experience the fullness of Christ’s love and extend His compassion and peace to all. I assure you of my prayers for you and your family.
Sincerely,

Living as an Engaged Steward
A Christian steward is one who receives God’s gifts, cultivates them, and returns them with an increase back to God. We are all called to be good stewards; however, the way that we live out a life of stewardship is different for each person. At Holy Family, our mission of spiritual development through prayer, education, worship, and service centers us to extend God’s grace more abundantly in our parish and in our community.
Did you know that the word Eucharist comes from the Greek word eukharistia for thanksgiving? The best way for us to give thanks back to God and further develop our spiritual life is to attend Mass and to participate in the sacraments.

Holy Family offers two main ways for you to tithe to the parish. Your financial support allows us to sustain and grow our ministries, serve our parishioners through evangelization and formation, and support the greater community and care for those in need.
Online Giving
Online giving is the preferred method of giving as it allows our parishioners to easily plan, track, and manage their financial gifts. Recurring online giving is secure and the automation saves our parish time and money. Our online giving portal allows you to set up your gifts by safely withdrawing either from your bank account or credit/debit card. You can set up both recurring gifts as well as return to the portal to make one-time gifts for special collections and outreach programs such as Habitat for Humanity or the Christmas Basket program.

Envelopes
Offertory envelopes are an easy way to give through cash and checks each week. Registered parishioners can receive envelopes in the mail every other month for the upcoming collections. Please mark your preference to receive envelopes on the engagement card.
