Welcome, Gabi!

I am pleased to announce that Gabi Grys is joining Holy Family’s youth ministry staff as the HFAM Youth Lead. In this position, Gabi will focus directly on our high school students and report to Evan Bohn, our Director of Youth Ministry. Gabi has previously been involved with our high school ministry as a volunteer, and I am thrilled she will be joining us full-time to form and serve our youth. Please join me in welcoming Gabi to our pastoral team.

Hello! My name is Gabi Grys. I’m originally from Pennsylvania but moved to Nashville in 2014 to attend Vanderbilt University. I studied Secondary Education and History and have spent the last five years teaching in Metro Nashville Public Schools. After serving as a volunteer on the HFAM Core Team, I felt the Holy Spirit nudging me to commit to Holy Family Youth Ministry more fully. 

St. Irenaeus wrote, “The glory of God is the human person fully alive.” My goal is to continue to make HFAM a space where our teens can be “fully alive” together, whether that’s by enjoying a meal, sharing what’s on their hearts, celebrating each other, having fun, or exploring the faith.
