IGNITE
The mission of Holy Family's Middle School Youth Ministry (IGNITE) is to strive to become who we truly are as children of God by growing in community and faith, experiencing encounters with the Lord through the Sacraments, and serving His community.

IGNITE is Holy Family's middle school youth group that meets about once a month for social and service events. ALL middle school students are welcome to join us for these monthly get-togethers!

Every year, IGNITE offers a retreat for all middle schoolers. This retreat provides opportunities to grow in community and faith and encounter the Lord through the Sacraments.
Rising eighth graders (current seventh graders) are also invited to join HFAM Youth on the summer mission trip. Click here to learn more about the Alive in You summer mission trip.
Community Night is designed to help Holy Family Catholic Church feel like a second home. Do you need a night where you and your friends can talk and play games? Do you ever wish you had your own basketball gym? Would you like to join a small group for girls or boys? You can have all these things and more on Wednesday nights!
Community Nights will be from 6:15–7:15 pm immediately following Wednesday night Religious Education classes. Dates are in conjunction with the Religious Formation calendar. We will operate on a 4-week programming cycle of Boys/Girls Small Groups, Free Play, Bible Study, and Wildcard Wednesday. Wildcard Wednesdays will include events like Skate Night, Thanksgiving Party, and some special surprises! For a complete schedule of events, sign up to receive our emails and text messages.
Community Nights do not require registration and are open to all 6-12 graders. Teens are welcome to invite their friends, even if they do not attend Holy Family.

Community Night
Volunteers are needed to help lead and keep our young people safe during Community Nights on Wednesdays! Volunteers will help monitor the halls, the gym, and the youth rooms. We may also offer different small group opportunities throughout the year that you are welcome to help with!
Email [email protected] if you are interested in volunteering.
Dinner Crew
Middle and high schoolers eat dinner together on Sunday evenings before breaking out into their separate groups. We need a crew to help make this happen!
Email [email protected] to volunteer for Dinner Crew.
IGNITE Events
We need volunteers to help with our monthly IGNITE events. Volunteers will help set up, clean up, chaperone, and build relationships with our middle schoolers. Our IGNITE events happen mainly on Saturdays, with the occasional Friday or Sunday.
Email [email protected] to volunteer for IGNITE events.
Teach at Sunday Night Youth Group
Catechists or small group leaders are needed for sixth, seventh, and eighth graders during our Religious Formation's Youth Group Format on Sunday nights from 6:45–8:15pm. After a quick meal (pizza, sandwiches, chicken fingers – something easy and pre-plated), we will split into our grade level groups. Seventh and eight grade catechists will be assigned to a small “class,” which will essentially be your small group for the year! You’ll be in charge of attendance, helping to monitor behavior for your group, and sharing the faith with our youth.
Email [email protected] to volunteer as a catechist/small group leader for the Sunday night middle school Religious Formation Youth Group Format.
